Who We Are

The MEF is a community-based non-profit organization that supports Medford Public School Students by giving grants to Medford educators to fund innovative teaching and learning opportunities for their students.

Our Purpose

The purpose of the MEF is to stimulate innovation and excellence by supporting educational programs that are outside normal public funds. 

MEF funding can help teachers spark the interest of their students and provide a more responsive and innovative classroom experience for students.

Thank you to all at the Medford Community Fund for supporting the Medford Educational Foundation. 

The M.E.F. is grateful for the commitment and generosity that Needham Bank has demonstrated to us and the students of Medford. We are thankful to local partner Gene Kalaw, VP Branch Manager of Needham Bank at Medford. We also would like to thank Karen Marryat, the Chief Marketing Officer of Needham Bank.

We are grateful to the Medford Kiwanis Club for their ongoing support of the M.E.F. The Medford Kiwanis Club is a 501 c3 organization and has been supporting the children of Medford and the world since 1925. The Medford Kiwanis raise over $50,00 annually and donate to many worthy causes including college scholarships, sports programs, school programs, literacy, the arts and the Medford Educational Foundation.
